German Entrepreneur Award
„Worldwide unique storage technology“
The panel of judges appraised Tesvolt’s storage systems as a worldwide unique product. “What makes our storage systems so exceptional is the battery management system,” says Simon Schandert, co-founder of Tesvolt. It makes Tesvolt storage systems especially durable and economical. “While other storage systems on the market fall short when it comes to cost efficiency, Tesvolt’s products pay for themselves within a few years – even without subsidies.”
The smarter E Award
The smarter E Award" focuses on solutions and concepts that intelligently combine all energy sectors from the electricity, heat and transport sectors with renewable energies, decentralisation and digitisation. Tesvolt and Unlimited Energy received the award in 2018 for their "Offgrid avocado farm" project in Australia.
The Avocado farm in Pemberton is supplied with energy by a 53 kilowatt (KW) photovoltaic system in combination with a 160 kWh saltwater tank and a 48 kWh tesvolt tank. The entire system is completely self-sufficient and can operate without connection to the power grid.
The Hugo Junkers Prize has been awarded by the Ministry of Economy, Science and Digitalisation of the State of Saxony-Anhalt for 25 years. It honours the most important technological innovations made by companies headquartered in Saxony-Anhalt.
In 2016, TESVOLT received 1st place in the “Most Innovative Product Development” category for its proprietary battery management system, a technical innovation.
Global Manufacturing Award
MANPACK’s Global Manufacturing Award recognizes the “game changers” among the global manufacturers of innovative products in dynamic markets.
