Charging infrastructure and storage specialist Stercom has gained another strategic investor: Zapi Group, a global leader in electrification, is acquiring a majority stake in the Tesvolt subsidiary. This strategic partnership secures important growth momentum for Stercom's Weyarn location, technology development, and international business activities, particularly in the field of e-mobility. Stercom is one of the leading suppliers of onboard chargers for industrial commercial vehicles and mobile systems.
Investment important for further growth
“E-mobility is a huge growth market. Our onboard chargers enable bidirectional energy flow and are among the technological pioneers,” says Robert Sterff, CEO and founder of Stercom. “With the help of Zapi, we are now taking the next step in our growth.”
The synergies created within the Zapi Group strengthen Stercom's purchasing, development, sales, and service departments. In addition, the company can tap into new market segments and thus improve its international competitiveness.
