The core principles behind our solutions

Smart IoT Architecture
Quality
Security

The smart TESVOLT IoT architecture connects storage systems, inverters, measurement devices, and the TESVOLT Energy Manager via the TESVOLT IoT Gateway into a single, centrally controlled overall system. The gateway standardizes communication, consolidates data streams, and establishes a secure, bidirectional connection to the cloud. This makes all assets centrally visible, remotely controllable, and seamlessly integrated into monitoring, operations, and energy markets.

Built on this architecture, the system enables automated control, real-time transparency, and continuous optimization of plant operations. Data from field devices flows in a structured way into portals and trading platforms, allowing decisions to be made faster, more precisely, and more economically. The IoT layer thus forms the digital foundation for reliable operation, intelligent orchestration, and future-proof scalability.

Quality is built into the entire TESVOLT product lifecycle.

This is supported by:

  • a certified quality management system according to ISO 9001:2015,
  • systematic testing and validation of components and systems,
  • standardized development and manufacturing processes,
  • careful selection and evaluation of our suppliers,
  • transparent documentation and connected data across the entire value chain.
  • Quality also remains an active process during operation.

We continuously learn from field data and customer experience and keep improving our products. To do this, we use:

  • monitoring and data-based analysis in live operation,
  • structured error and continuous improvement management,
  • an agile organization for rapid adjustments,
  • regular training for employees and partner installers,
  • close collaboration with customers and partners in planning, installation, and service.

TESVOLT sets a high standard for safety and follows a multi-layered approach that combines electrical reliability with functional safety in its energy storage systems. Most battery modules and systems are tested and certified by TÜV Rheinland , confirming their electrical safety through comprehensive assessments and making them among the safest storage solutions on the market. These TÜV certificates demonstrate that, in addition to electrical safety, the mechanical and functional characteristics of the systems are subject to rigorous testing — from short-circuit and overcurrent protection to robust enclosure design and intelligent system monitoring.

In addition to these physical and electrical safety measures, TESVOLT plans to pursue ISO 27001 certification during 2026 — the international standard for information security management systems — in order to systematically address digital risks and secure related processes.
