with TESVOLT Energy Controller Pro S

TESVOLT FORTON is ready for grid integration

  • Connection to a Master EZA controller via the system interface adapter TESVOLT Energy Controller Pro S (available separately).
  • Recommended list of solution providers for Master EZA controllers and Modbus list for integration into Master EZA controllers available (on request).

TEC Pro S – the key to standard-compliant integration of TESVOLT storage systems

  • Enables connection, control, and communication of the TESVOLT battery storage system with a superior (master) EZA controller.
  • Ensures VDE-AR-N-4110 -compliant grid integration (requires a compatible Master EZA controller).

System architecture of PowerCore G2

At the grid connection point, the energy flow is measured via a current measuring coil and an energy meter. These measurements form the basis for the intelligent control of the entire system.

Via a customer-provided router and a central network switch, all components are digitally connected. The core of the system is the TESVOLT Energy Manager — it acts as the conductor of the system.

Device architecture: Each PowerCore G2 is connected through a TESVOLT IoT Gateway . The battery storage and inverter sit logically behind this gateway and communicate with the TESVOLT Energy Manager via adapters or a Modbus interface.

This ensures that every individual asset is cleanly integrated, standardized in its data, and remotely controllable.

Role of the TESVOLT Energy Manager:

the system logic — the decision-making intelligence,
the orchestration of all storage systems,
the multi-asset operation of several PowerCore G2 units as one coordinated overall system.

Frontend and cloud: The overarching user interface — monitoring, portals, and trading connection in the cloud — remains identical to the TESVOLT FORTON architecture. This means: the same user experience, the same tools, with a new hardware topology underneath.
