Aim/purpose of funding:
The grants are given with the aim of expanding the storage systems available on the market, thereby increasing self-consumption while also promoting the growth of roof photovoltaics.

What battery storage systems are funded?
The storage system funding programme funds the procurement and construction of a storage system for PV installations up to an installed capacity of 30 kWp. Landlord-to-tenant electricity models will be funded up to an installed capacity of 100 kWp.

Special features/other/observations:
The storage system will only be funded if a new PV installation is commissioned at the same time, or if the capacity of an existing PV roof installation is at least doubled. The PV installation itself is not eligible for funding.

Subsidies for enhancing energy efficiency and increasing the use of renewable energies within companies

What battery storage systems are funded?
The programme funds installations for generating electricity and heat from renewable energies, plus energy and heat storage systems, and a multitude of other potential efficiency measures for use in operation.

Funding conditions, amount of funding:
The following are eligible for funding:

• Small and medium-sized enterprises with a minimum investment amount of EUR 10,000
• Large organisations with a minimum investment amount of EUR 100,000
• Owner-operated municipal enterprises
• Energy service providers that carry out energy performance contracting for companies

1. The applicant must show evidence of a completed energy audit or of an energy management system.
2. Subsidy (max. EUR 500,000); the amount depends on the company size and what is being funded.

Special features/other/observations:
Energy-saving measures are the focus of this funding. More advanced projects covering energy storage systems, renewable energy generation, etc., can only be funded in addition to energy-saving measures.
